Most ambulatorios or centros de salud (health centres) in Spain have a dentist who will provide free treatment to people registered with the social security system. You may also find dentists offering emergency treatment in Spanish hospitals.

If you have any problems getting an appointment with the dentist at your local health centre, then private dental treatment is widely available and prices are low compared to private treatment in the UK.

As private dentistry costs have rapidly increased in the UK and Ireland, more people are considering coming to Spain for dental treatment such as implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, teeth whitening and cosmetic dentistry.

There are a great number of private dentists in Marbella equipped with the latest advances in terms of instruments and technology with many of them offering free medical consultations and unlimited aftercare check-ups.  But ask for a written quotation and compare fees and services carefully before committing.
