Women aren't the only ones nowadays who care about their appearance and grooming is now very important to men - especially if they are in a warm and sunny climate like Marbella wearing less clothes and so much of their body on display.

Men should not be afraid to make themselves more attractive by having beauty treatments, investing in good haircuts or using personal care products to help nature out a bit.

Below are some fairly basic beauty and grooming tips - but believe me they matter:

  •  Keep your nails trimmed and clean.  Manicures and pedicures for men are a great way to keep your hands and feet looking at their best
  • Good dental hygiene and treatments like veneers or teeth whitening can give a dazzling smile and a kissable mouth
  • Wear sunglasses as with the amount of sun we get in Marbella constant squinting will leave permanent creases over time, and remember to take care of your skin in the sun
  • If you want a healthy glow but haven’t got time or don’t want to lie by the pool then spray tanning is an excellent alternative
  • Your face needs moisturiser so treat yourself to a regenerating facial every now and again
  • Drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses a day) to stay hydrated. Water also flushes toxins out of your skin and can help in getting rid of acne
  • Get a good hairdresser. You should never try to dye your own hair but have it professionally done.  But remember that a lot of women think a little “salt and pepper” is distinguished looking on most men
  • If you have thinning hair or a bald spot then it might be worth your considering a hair transplant
  • If you have a dull complexion micro-dermabrasion will quickly bring back that healthy glow

And finally if you really feel like some pampering, there are a number of spas in Marbella which offer special treatment packages for men that you can try out for a day or treat yourself to a weekend break.
