The greatest amount of swelling occurs 24 to 48 hours after the surgery, but it may take several weeks before all the puffiness disappears.
Most of the bruising will disappear within two weeks, and after a few days, you will be able to wear make-up to help conceal any discoloration. The results of your facelift may be dramatic or subtle, but you should expect to wait several weeks to be able to appreciate your new look.
